Volunteer activities for CAN are
exciting. The Bracelet Beaders have been busy making
bracelets, necklaces and earrings. They have raised
thousands of dollars for CAN beneficiaries. Great
job! They meet every Monday from 1-3 PM at Moorings
Park. It's a great way to have fun while helping to
raise money.
Non-profit organizations could not sustain themselves
without the support of volunteers. CAN is no different.
We are looking for caring and compassionate people
to help further our mission. We know there are many
agencies from which you can choose to offer your time
and talent. Please consider joining CAN.
We especially need help in our office. If you have
computer skills, we could use your help for an hour,
a half-day -- whatever time you have to work with
us. You would be working directly with our Executive
Administrator, who would greatly appreciate your assistance
in the office!

So, if you
want to make a commitment to something really worthwhile
that will make you feel really great, commit your
valuable time, talent and energy volunteering for
CAN. Yes, it is challenging, and your heart will
often be tugged, but we promise you will make new
friends, learn skills and share laughs and hugs.
We will find a task that fits your interest and
talents.
We're working on several major events and projects
in 2007 including CAN's 2nd Annual Fashion Show.
Don't miss this truly extraordinary opportunity.
Positions include:
Bracelet Program
Beneficiary Coordinator
Client Interviews
Client Transportation Provider

We will be more than happy to provide you with a
job description of these positions. If you have
another talent or interest that would enhance our
volunteer program, PLEASE do not hesitate to share
your ideas with us! Call me if you cannot resist
this invitation!
